A politician from the Middle East took part in the simulation and, afterwards, wanted to help. Because of his position, he requested anonymity, but went on to contribute US$25,000 to support NGO Jusoor in their Early Childhood Education Programme. This programme serves 50 of the most vulnerable 3-5 year old Syrian refugees living in a muddy tented settlement in the Bekaa Valley in an innovative programme designed to strengthen the young children’s cognitive functioning and mental health.
